Car Rental Procedure

• Reservation:

    ◦ The customer contacts the car rental company by phone, online form, email or website.

    ◦ Entry of customer details and details of the reservation, including the time and date of pick-up and return of the car, as well as the type of car desired.

    ◦ The rental company provides the available car options according to the customer's needs.

    ◦ The customer selects the desired car and agrees on the rental price.

• Receipt of Car:

    ◦ The customer receives the car at the agreed location and on the agreed pick-up date.

• Payment:

    ◦ The customer pays the rental amount and any security deposits in the agreed manner.

• Usage:

    ◦ The customer uses the car in accordance with the rental contract and local traffic regulations.

- Car Return:

    ◦ The customer returns the car to the company on the specified date and location.

    ◦ The car is re-inspected to detect any damage.

• Final Charge:

    ◦ The customer returns the car and pays any additional charges incurred during the rental period.

• Closing of Procedure:

    ◦ The rental is considered complete after the return of the car and the final payment.

• Evaluation:

    ◦ The company can collect evaluations from its customers on the quality of services and their level of satisfaction.
2What are the requirements for renting?

The tenant must be at least 25 years of age.

The lessee declares that he/she has a legal driving license valid in Greece and issued at least 60 months prior to the signing of this contract. In the case of an International Driving Licence holder, the licence must be accompanied by the driving licence of the driver's country.

3What are the available payment options?

The hirer must be a credit/debit card holder for the security deposit where applicable and the available payment methods are either by card or bank deposit.

4What happens in case of damage to the car?

In the event of an accident or other incident (fire, theft, etc.) the lessee or additional driver is immediately obliged to:

a. NOT to admit fault or liability and claims of third parties in any way, directly or indirectly.

b. Note the names, telephone numbers and addresses of the witnesses, the driver and the details of the car with which the car may have collided.

c. Notify the police to ascertain the fault of the third party and treat any existing injuries.

d. To park the Car in a secure location and immediately contact the Lessor by telephone or any other means.

e. Collect any relevant information from any third party.

f. Photograph the scene of the accident and the cars involved in the accident if possible. He/she must also within twenty-four (24) hours complete and sign an accident/theft report at the Lessor's shop and send any documents or information relating to the accident to the Lessor. In case of theft or loss of the Car, the Customer is obliged to report the event in writing to the nearest police authority immediately or within twenty-four (24) hours at the latest.

5Are there any restrictions on how many kilometres the tenant can drive?

The vehicle at the agreed rates can travel up to 100km/day. For more information please contact the company.

6What are the cancellation policies?

For any cancellation or change a written notification is necessary to be sent to Vip Auto Rental.

The cancellation policy for luxury car rental is as follows:

From October to March

    • 20 days to 15 days before arrival: 100% of the deposit is refunded
    • 15 days to 10 days before arrival: 50% of the payment is refunded
    • 9 days prior to arrival, for any cancellation and/or no-show, full cancellation fees apply

From April to September

    • 31 days before arrival: 100% of the deposit is refunded
    • 30 days to 21 days before arrival: 50% of the payment is refunded
    • 20 days prior to arrival, for any cancellation and/or no-show, full cancellation fees apply

The cancellation policy for driver services is as follows:

From October to March

    • 7 days before arrival: 100% of the deposit is refunded
    • 6 days to 4 days before arrival: 50% of the payment is refunded.
    • 3 days prior to arrival, for any cancellation and/or no-show, full cancellation fees apply

From April to September

    • 20 days before arrival: 100% of the deposit is refunded
    • 19 days to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the payment is refunded
    • 14 days prior to arrival, for any cancellation and/or no-show, full cancellation fees apply
